Daniel McElhinney Moves to Firm’s San Luis Obispo Office

Kronick Moskovitz is pleased to announce that Daniel McElhinney has joined the firm’s San Luis Obispo office where he will continue as an associate attorney practicing with the firm’s litigation and education groups.  Dan comes to the San Luis Obispo office after transferring from the firm’s Sacramento headquarters where he worked on student issues and First Amendment rights, employee discipline and termination, and general governance issues, including the Brown Act and Public Records Act.

He is a frequent presenter on student issues with a particular focus on transgender student issues and AB 1266, the Student Success & Opportunity Act.  He trains school site employees on best practices for non-discrimination and trains county offices of education on the legal framework and practical implications of legal protections for transgender students.

Dan is a native of Los Osos and graduated from Morro Bay High School before attending law school, so his relocation to San Luis Obispo is like returning home.  Feel free to contact him directly at the telephone number and email address noted herein.
