National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)

As part of our environmental and natural resources law practice, we advise our public and private clients on all aspects of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance process. From planning and permit applications through document preparation and agency-specific compliance with requirements, our attorneys prepare assessments and impact statements to help our clients gain Federal approvals for their projects and avoid litigation when possible.

Kronick’s attorneys are also experienced in defending NEPA-related documentation and approvals via litigation. Our lawyers regularly represent clients before state and federal regulatory agencies, including the California Public Utilities Commission, State Water Resources Control Board, Department of Water Resources, Regional Water Quality Control Boards, State Lands Commission, State Reclamation Board, California Department of Fish and Wildlife, Army Corps of Engineers, National Marine Fisheries Service, U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.
