Sixty years and going strong, Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard is celebrating six decades of service to a diverse and growing roster of public and private clients throughout California.
2019 marks the 60th anniversary for Kronick which the firm will celebrate through firm-wide events, including a party for clients and friends of the firm, a statewide advertising campaign and a new video commemorating the firm’s history, growth and unique culture.
One of the oldest law firms in Sacramento, Kronick was established in 1959 by Stanley Kronick and Adolph Moskovitz, two forward-thinking attorneys with a passion for water resource law who met when serving as staff attorneys for the regional Bureau of Reclamation. While there, they formulated a water allocation plan that eventually launched many state water and hydroelectric projects, an expertise that provided a lasting foundation for their firm.
Today’s Kronick attorneys are known throughout California as leaders in a wide range of legal practices and industries, such as water, environmental, municipalities and special districts, banking and finance, health care, and employment. “Private clients often deal with bureaucracies, and municipalities frequently work with the private sector to accomplish their goals, so our expertise in both realms helps ensure positive outcomes for our clients,” says Mona G. To mark sixty years of continued service, the firm hosted clients and friends of the firm for a celebration at Mix Downtown in Sacramento on May 16th. In April, Kronick attorneys, shareholders and staff participated in three days of filming at the firm’s offices and in locations across Sacramento for the making of a commemorative video which was unveiled during the client celebration. The four-minute piece includes clips of long-term stakeholders and recent hires alike recounting Kronick’s founding story, extensive history of advocacy, and unique culture.
