KMTG Attorney Margaret Grover Sworn in as Chair of the Conference of California Bar Associations

Kronick Moskovitz Tiedemann & Girard (KMTG) is pleased to announce that employment law attorney Margaret Grover is the 2011-12 Chair of the Conference of California Bar Associations (CCBA). Grover, who practices in the Walnut Creek office of KMTG, has been a long-time leader within the CCBA and will head the Association in its ongoing efforts to improve the laws and the administration of justice in California. Grover was sworn in aboard the historic Queen Mary in Long Beach, California during the CCBA’s 77th Annual Conference of Delegates.

Grover has been representing and advising California employers on all aspects of the employer-employee relationship for more than 28 years, and has a successful litigation practice defending employers throughout California in both state and federal courts and in arbitrations. She has been lead counsel on more than 20 trials and has been recognized by her peers as a Northern California Super Lawyer multiple years in a row.

About CCBA

The CCBA serves justice in California by bringing together attorney volunteers from across the State representing diverse backgrounds, experience, and expertise to seek, debate, and promote creative, non-partisan solutions to law-related issues for the benefit of Californians. Formed in 2002, the CCBA is the successor to the State Bar Conference of Delegates; the combined organizations have an almost 80 year history. With its new name and status, CCBA has been reinvigorated as the voice of the lawyers of California. Participation is open to and encouraged from all local, minority, statewide and specialty voluntary bar associations in California.
