Jonathan Hobbs Named City Attorney For Lincoln

KMTG is pleased to announce that Jonathan P. Hobbs has been named City Attorney for the City of Lincoln. Hobbs replaces Tim Hayes who retired this month after serving the city for the past 21 years. The selection of Hobbs was announced at the December 14 meeting of the Lincoln City Council.

Hobbs practices municipal law at KMTG where he is a shareholder and also serves as Chairman of the firm’s Board of Directors. A 1996 graduate of University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law, Hobbs’ practice focuses on representing municipalities and other local government agencies in a variety of transactional and litigation matters, primarily associated with land use and planning. Hobbs also serves as City Attorney for the City of Rio Vista and is Interim City Attorney for the City of Elk Grove.

Established in 1890, the City of Lincoln is located 25 miles northeast of Sacramento and is home to 38,000 residents.
