Answered: A Comprehensive COVID Update For Employers

On Tuesday, October 11th, Kronick’s Shareholder Chris Onstott joins Hanna Brophy and Marsh McLennan Agency as they explore the concept of take-home COVID and current state/federal law concerning whether employers can be liable to non-employees when an employee allegedly contracts COVID-19 at work and transmits the disease to a non-employee. This area could open the door to a seemingly endless chain of liability, particularly when one considers presumptive COVID-19 claims.

We will discuss the effect of AB5 on employers’ attempts to deal with COVID in the workplace. Finally, this presentation will address accommodation issues affecting “long haulers.”
