Kate Zemlo Rivas, Associate

Kate, an associate attorney in the firm, represents public and private sector entities in all employment matters, including wage and hour actions, workplace audits and investigations, and discrimination and harassment claims. She provides advice and counsel to clients on various labor and employment issues, including compliance with California wage and hour laws and laws regulating employee leave, termination, discrimination, and harassment.

Prior to receiving her California attorney license, Kate had worked for over ten years in the management of human resources, both in the private and public sectors on the East and West Coasts. Most recently, she worked at the University of California, Davis.

She is fluent in Polish and Spanish.
