Ashlee Gilliam, Associate

Ashlee, an associate attorney, represents public and private sector entities in all employment matters including wage and hour actions, workplace audits and investigations, and discrimination and harassment claims. She provides advice and counsel to clients on various labor and employment issues, including compliance with California wage and hour laws and laws regulating employee leave, termination, discrimination, and harassment.

Legal Experience

Ashlee is experienced in multiple practice areas including, workers’ compensation, personal injury, health, and general liability law where she represented employers, physicians, businesses, and hospitals in professional liability and healthcare litigation defense matters. Additionally, Ashlee worked for an employment law firm where she handled matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, breach of contract, defamation, and unfair competition.

While at UC Law SF she interned with the UCSF Medical Legal Partnership for Seniors Clinic. She also served as the Hastings Health Law President and Editor of the Hastings Science and Technology Law Journal. She built upon her skills through externships at the Health, Education, and Welfare Department of the San Francisco Attorney General’s Office and Kaiser Permanente.
