Kronick Advances Two Attorneys to Shareholder

Kronick proudly announces the advancement of two attorneys to Shareholder – Gabriel Herrera and Holly Roberson. “We look forward to the continued success of their promising legal careers and welcome their addition to leadership in the firm,” said Scott Morris, Managing Shareholder.

Gabriel P. Herrera

Gabriel Herrera represents lending institutions and other private entities in general and commercial litigation matters, including lender liability lawsuits, debt collection actions, construction disputes, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, fraud, and real property disputes. In addition, he provides advice and counsel to private entities on general business matters and represents health care providers, including FQHCs, in regulatory and administrative proceedings involving licensing issues, audits and compliance, overpayments, and other litigation matters.

Gabriel also advises clients in bankruptcy related matters, including secured and unsecured claims, avoidance actions, discharge proceedings, relief from the automatic stay, the recovery and liquidation of assets, and exemption issues. He has successfully represented lending institutions and other private entities on complex bankruptcy issues, including being awarded a multi-million dollar judgment, and has represented Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 bankruptcy trustees in all aspects of administering bankruptcy estates.

Gabriel serves as general counsel for the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and as the chair for the Sacramento County Bar Association Bankruptcy and Commercial Law Section. Prior to joining Kronick, Gabriel served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Kathleen Butz of the California Court of Appeals, Third District Court of Appeal.

Holly A. Roberson

Holly Roberson represents public and private sector clients in the areas of natural resources and water law. Her practice focuses on environmental law and policy, CEQA, land use, water, climate change, and renewable energy. Prior to joining the firm, Holly served as Land Use Counsel at the California Governor’s Office of Planning and Research (OPR). At OPR, she worked on tribal cultural resources and the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), the General Plan Guidelines, military land use compatibility planning, infill streamlining, utility scale solar siting, complex mediation, drought issues, and the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act (SGMA). Holly is a member of the Legislation Committee for the Environmental Law Section of the State Bar.

Holly has experience working with environmental laws on the National, State, and Local level. She has special expertise in tribal cultural resources and CEQA (AB 52). She has provided technical assistance and training to lead agencies, the private sector, and tribal governments throughout the state. Prior to her appointment, Holly worked at a prominent Sacramento law firm specializing in CEQA.
