Terilynn Diepenbrock, Senior Counsel

Terilynn, a member of the firm’s health care and business transactions practice groups, focuses on business counseling, all aspects of civil litigation, healthcare litigation, regulatory compliance, and employment issues. She works with our clients in the health care industry handling a broad range of the issues that the industry faces, addressing matters that come to light as either an employer or as a health care provider. Formerly a practitioner in the Bay Area, Terilynn brings over 25 years of litigation experience to each and every issue that presents. She is fluent in Spanish and looks forward to working with clients, or employees of our clients, who are best served by communicating in Spanish.

  • Professional Negligence: Medical Malpractice; Board of Director Liability; Defense of accountants and CPAs; Attorney malpractice
  • General Liability: General business litigation, mortgage fraud, real estate disclosure issues, boundary disputes, breach of contract, labor and employment, and personal injury
  • Construction Defect: Defense of developers, general contractors, and sub-contractors
  • Engages in, manages and supervises all litigation phases from factual development, case strategy, law and motion, discovery, mediation, trial and appeal.
  • First chairs jury and bench trials in state court and federal court.
  • Represents employers in single-party claims of retaliation, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, wage and hour and other employment litigation.
  • Has secured multiple dismissals following successful Motions for Summary Judgment motions filed on behalf of her clients
  • Has conducted appellate work when review has proven necessary.
  • Represented Senior Living Facilities in employment matters initiated by employees.
  • Counsels health care facilities regarding compliance and employment issues.
  • Prior to joining Kronick in 2018, Terilynn was a partner at a Bay Area firm where she practiced general litigation for over 20 years.

Professional Activities & Affiliations

Terilynn enjoys providing services for her community and spent the past several years working with San Francisco Outreach programs to arrange for its students to have educational experiences on the Bay, including sailing, maritime navigation and marine biology.
