Jenifer Gee, Associate

Jenifer Gee, an associate attorney in the firm, represents public and private sector clients in the areas of natural resources and water law. She focuses on regulatory compliance, water rights, water quality, administrative law and land-use matters.

Legal Experience

Jenifer performs a variety of legal services for both public and private sector clients, including in-depth legal research and analysis, regulatory compliance assistance and litigation-related support. Specific areas of experience include:

  • Endangered Species Acts (Federal and State)
  • National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)
  • California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)
  • National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) Permits
  • California Water Rights

Jenifer’s experience includes a post-graduate judicial clerkship for Judge Michael Gibbons of the Nevada Court of Appeals where she drafted legal memorandums and performed legal research and analysis in several areas of law.  Prior to her clerkship, Jenifer worked as an associate at Kronick where she and researched and drafted memoranda on a variety of issues, including notice violations under the ESA, groundwater ordinances, impact of changes to statutory law, and environmental property rights disputes.  While at Kronick, Jenifer has also had exposure to various practice groups, which helped build her litigation skills, including defending a client in several depositions and drafting legal motions.  During law school, Jenifer gained a wealth of practical experience through various internships and law clerk positions, including an externship with Judge Kimberly Mueller in the Eastern District of California and a summer associate position at Kronick where she worked with attorneys in the natural resources department.
