Associates

If you enjoy working with a group of highly regarded and experienced attorneys and want to be in an environment that is innovative, collaborative and challenging, then Kronick may be the right place for you.

With multiple areas of practice, a broad, government-based clientele and a diverse mix of private industry clients, Kronick offers associates variety and growth opportunities. They join a team of attorneys representing numerous private and public sector clients.

Working at Kronick

The firm environment is supportive, collaborative and “client-focused” which means attorneys are encouraged to turn to each other and to other attorney teams within the firm who have expertise in a particular area of law that best meets a client’s specific legal issue.

New associates gain valuable legal experience and considerable opportunities to work in learning partnerships with seasoned attorneys on focused or multiple areas of law. We encourage dialogue rather than delegation, inviting each team member, from shareholder to recent hire, to contribute their individual knowledge and expertise.

This collaborative effort continues during extended periods of off-site work. Kronick’s leaders are committed to maintaining superior service to clients and team members. Senior attorneys check in regularly to mentor and support assigned attorneys and staff, discuss their progress on matters and listen to their ideas.

Kronick offers a highly competitive salary and benefits package (see our Benefits section for more information) and encompasses multiple legal disciplines for attorneys to expand their legal experience. Kronick is an equal-opportunity employer. We provide reimbursement of training and career development opportunities for attorneys who want to enhance their skills and knowledge base. A number of Kronick attorneys have participated in Leadership programs through prestigious organizations such as the American Leadership Forum, Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Leadership California and Water Education Foundation. For new associates, we also provide reimbursement of bar review course fees, bar association dues, and continuing legal education.
